With only a few weeks to go before the Red & White Ball, we rounded up a few FAQs to help make sure you are ready for a great time.

When does the event start?
Registration and the wine tables will open at 5:00p along the horseshoe of the Plaza. Arrive early to set up your own picnic, grab a glass of wine, and enjoy the event!

What should I bring?
You'll want to pack your favorite picnic seating and decide ahead if you'll bring a picnic meal from home or order take away from participating restaurants. There will not be food for sale at the event itself.  Standard rules apply for the City of Sonoma so do not bring household furniture, barbecues, candles, tents, canopies or pets. Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.

What about food?

You can bring your own meal, or order ahead from one of our partner restaurants on the Plaza. There will not be food for sale at the event itself.  Partner restaurants have created special takeaway menu options just for you, exclusively available for the night of August 27th! Advance ordering is required at most restaurants. Please contact the restaurant directly to place your order and then pick it up when you are ready. Please note, the cost of meals are separate from an event ticket and payable directly to the restaurants.

Can I arrange for my picnic to be setup instead of doing it myself?
As of August 22nd, our partners at Picnic Potential are sold out for this year's Red & White Ball. Click here to learn more about Picnic Potential at the Red & White Ball

What does a General Admission ticket include?
You'll receive a wine tumbler and a glass of wine (for 21+), plus a red & white picnic blanket per household. By purchasing a ticket, you are helping underwrite the costs of the event and supporting local public schools.

What should I wear?
While some things are different this year in the format of the event, wearing red and white remains the same!

How does attending the event help support the students?
At this year's event you'll learn about the great things happening at our local public schools directly from the Superintendent, Sonoma Valley teachers and staff as well as parent teacher organizations and nonprofit partners. You'll also enjoy live performances by Sonoma students during part of the evening!

What if I could use accommodations in order to attend?
We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. To request an accommodation or for inquiries about accessibility, please contact Sarah Carroll at 707-935-9566 or sarah@sveducationfoundation.org.
